Here is part of the group who get together every Thursday to create everything from collage to oil paintings. No that is not our work on the wall. We paint, critique, eat, laugh and learn every week.

Lest y'all think that I haven't been working.......here is a sample. Lots more to do. It is along about this time that a name should magically appear but so far not. Any suggestions from anyone?

I am not entirely happy with this face yet but will work on it as I complete the rest of the painting. 30x40, he is holding a child and is in his dance costume. I hope that I can do justice to this scene which tugs at my heart.

I have decided to listen to my heart this year and paint what I really enjoy. I have four paintings featuring Native American subjects roaming around in my head. One is on my easel, two are in the planning stages. I have reference materials for all of them. More as I progress.....................
