Heidi models for Red Palette Art Center in Humble, Texas. I snapped a few pictures of her between the life drawing poses and used one of them as reference for this painting. Using less paint than I normally do in certain areas gave me a look that I really like. I will experiment with this more in future paintings. This one will be entered in the Artists of Texas Fall Show at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, TX November 1. The show will hang until December 31. The artists reception will be November 6 so come by to see some wonderful art and meet the artists.
