I started this painting in a workshop with Qiang Huang at the Bunkhouse (http://www.wenmohsranch.com)  in May of this year.  Pthalo Blue proved to be a challenge to paint with. I don't normally use it and now I know why. It is very strong and can get out of control quickly. The wildflowers were abundant on the ranch and found their way into each of the still lifes that I painted during the workshop.
